A major attraction of the Ulster County Fair was the annual Floral Parade. This photo shows a view of the midway with decorated horse-drawn floats in the parade in the foreground. Note the Ferris wheel in the background.

This view of the 1909 parade gives us a glimpse of Clayton's MilitaryBand marching in front of a row of horses around the track of the driving park surrounding the midway of the fair.

Each fire company had a fancy parade carriage to be decorated and used in the Ulster County Fair annual Firemen's Day Parade. This image shows Scoresby Hose and Hook and Ladder Company with its parade carriage at Liberty Square.
