Christmas Cards
Ruth and Charles sent friends and family Christmas cards annually with updates about their lives. Historic Huguenot Street has two examples in the collection, both sent to Ruth’s Aunt Gertrude. Both cards from 1932 and 1933 feature photos of Ruth and Charles and talk about the opera, indicating how important it was to the couple and how proud they were of its progress.
