Deed, Noah Eltinge to Benjamin Deyo

This indenture made the third day of April in the seventh year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third of the grace of god. Of Great Britain France and Ireland. King defender of the faith be and in the year of our lord Christ, one thousand seven hundred and sixty-seven Between Noah Eltinge of the precinct of the New Paltz in the county Of Ulster and province of New York (esquire) of his one part, and Benjamin Deyo of the same province of the New paltz aforesaid yeoman of this other part. Witnesseth that this said Noah Eltinge for and in consideration of the sum of forty five pounds current money of New York to him in hand paid by this said Benjamin Deyo at and before the sealing and delivery of the profit, the receipt whereof he doth herby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied and there of and there from and of and from every part and parcel there of doth fully clearly and absolutely aquit, Promise, Release, Exonerate and Discharge the said Benjamin Deyo his Executors, Administrations and Assigns and every of them by these Presents. He tho said Noah Eltinge hath granted, bargained, Sold, Aliened Promised, Released and confirmed. And by these Present Doth fully, freely and Absolutely grant, Bargain, Sell, Alien, Promise, Release and Confirm unto the said Benjamin Deyo (In his Actual Possession now being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made for one whole year, by Indenture bearing date the day next before the day of the Date of these presents, And by force of the statute for Transferring of Uses into Possession) And to his Heirs and Assigns for ever All That Contain Lot Piece or Parcel of land, Situate lying and being within the Limits and Bounds of the Patent of the New Paltz in Ulster County aforesaid, being Distinguished hed? known by the Lot Number four in the Lot Number Ten Called Grandfrere's Lot in the Second twelve Lots on North Division of the New Division of lots called the first Tier situate Eastward of the Old Divisions on the East Side of the Paltz River, and adjacent hereunto. The said lot number four containing by elimination thirty six acres more or less, together with all and singular woods, underwoods, trees timber, meadows marshes swamps ponds streams and runs of water mines and minerals and all other Profits, Privileges, Easements Advantages, Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said lot number four in the said lot number ten belonging or in anyway appertaining And the reversion and reversions , remainder and remainders rents due and profits thereof and of every part and parcel there of with the appurtenances and also all the estates, right title, interest , property possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in equity as in law of him the said Noah Eltinge of in and to all and singular the said promises above mentioned and of, in and to every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances.
